Submissions are currently closed.

We’re building the bones right now—quietly, intentionally. We anticipate opening for submissions in the near future. When we do, we’ll be seeking poetry that trembles with truth, stares down the void, and still dares to sing. Raw Mischief Press publishes work for the haunted, the healing, and the halfway-between.

When Submissions Are Open:

• We accept previously unpublished poetry—however, work that has appeared on personal blogs, newsletters, or informal platforms is still eligible.
• Simultaneous submissions are fine—just notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.
• We are not currently accepting visual art, fiction, or essays.

Rights & Licensing

We believe the poet owns the poem. If your work is accepted, you retain full copyright. We simply ask for:

• A non-exclusive, perpetual license to publish and archive the work in digital and/or print form.
• A short period of exclusivity (typically 3–6 months) following original publication on our site or in our books. During this time, we ask that your piece not appear elsewhere in full.

You’re welcome to reprint your accepted work elsewhere after the exclusivity period, with credit to Raw Mischief Press as the original publisher.

Payment

At this time, we are unable to offer payment. We hope to change that as we grow. What we can promise is care, intention, and a place where your words are honored.

How to Submit

When submissions reopen, you’ll be able to send your work to submissions@rawmischief.com. Please include all poems in a single document and include a brief bio in your email body if you'd like.
